Similar to planning, the earlier in the lifespan of a project that experienced engineering judgement is introduced, the greater the overall whole of life cost savings are realised. We take a whole of life approach to design because capital cost savings can be undermined by ongoing operational and maintenance premiums, particularly in aggressive marine environments.
